Organic Vegetarian Café
At the Lammas Games, you will find extremely tasty fayre at our café. All the food (where possible) is locally grown and organic, fresh and homemade, with fair trade products wherever appropriate.
In 2005 we were providing hunks of fresh organic bread, homemade humous, lentil pate, organic cheese, homemade pickles, vegetarian chili and baked potatoes, various organic fresh salads, a wide range of cakes made in the local community, baked bananas with melted fair trade organic chocolate... and much more!
All in huge portions and hugely affordable.
In 2006, as well as the savoury dishes of organic breads, homemade soup, baked potatoes, salads, local cheeses, humous, and more, we had a wide range of organic and fair trade homemade cakes made especially for the event.
Local Beer and Wine Bar
We are supported by local brewery Wizard. They make such glorious beers as 'Apprentice', 'One for the Toad', and 'Druids' Fluid'.
At the bar, there are fair trade organic teas, coffee and hot chocolate. We also sell organic apple and orange juice and have potable water available free of charge.
